Arena Hospitality Group engaged with Robotiq.ai to automate the process of transferring financial data from the Opera Property Management System (PMS) to their Accounting System.

Every day, PMS exports three different files for each property to be imported into the accounting system. Files contain information, such as revenue, issued receipts, and their line items, calculated taxes, and other financial information. The process was performed manually by employees from the accounting department who spend 4 hours daily uploading files. Additionally, there were delays in upload due to varying workload on employees. especially in high season.

Using the Robotiq.ai RPA platform, this process is now completely automated, and the data is uploaded every day. What used to take four hours is now done in under an hour. Additionally, the robot is validating that all files are present and checking if there were some errors in data transfer due to missing data in the accounting system. With an automated process, employees now have more time to focus on more value-adding activities for the business.

Using a digital workforce, hospitality companies can increase their efficiency and improve customer experience. With the time given back to the employees, they can focus more on creating memorable experiences for their guests instead of spending time on repetitive activities.
